Samsung announced its Galaxy Note 4 among other, erm, noteworthy products during the IFA conference early this month but was mum on pricing and availability details, as OEMs often are with their hype-tastic new product announcements. Nevertheless, Samsung announced preorder availability for the AT&T and Verizon variants Thursday morning along with an October 17 availability date. Meanwhile, T-Mobile announced preorders beginning September 24, with availability also set for October 17.
If you don’t mind shelling out $299 for the device on a traditional carrier-subsidized 2-year contract, you can place your preorder beginning September 19 at AT&T and Verizon. If you use AT&T’s Next plan, you can get it for $34.42/month for 18 months or $41.30 per month for 12 months. T-Mobile will let you get your Galaxy Note 4 fix for $31.24/month for 24 months ($0 down). If you just want to buy it outright you’ll need to bring $826 and sales tax to the table. Should the prices give you sticker shock, Samsung has offered to soften the blow with a guaranteed trade-in value of $200 for any working smartphone provided you preorder between September 19 and October 16.
In case you don’t remember the specs, here is a quick recap:
- Quad-core 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805
- 5.7-inch QHD (2560×1440) Super AMOLED display
- 3GB RAM
- 16MP rear camera with OIS
No details are known for Sprint Galaxy Note 4 preorders, though they will also apparently get it in-store on October 17. Just in time for Nexus season, right?
